St Donat’s Castle on the South Wales Coast is an exceptional location for a wedding. Set high on the cliffs above the Bristol Channel, it has a rich history dating back to the 12th century and now operates as a college throughout the academic year. During summer months though it provides a stunning backdrop for wedding celebrations and on this occasion it was a pleasure to capture the wedding of Lara and Matthew.

Photography coverage for the day began with the bridal preparations before making my way to St Donat’s for the ceremony and reception. With the formalities complete I spent the remainder of the day capturing the celebrations within the castle grounds as well as taking a short walk to St Donat’s Bay for some evening photos on the beach with Lara and Matthew.
