I recently photographed the wedding of Delyth and Stewart at the Cliff Hotel in Cardigan, West Wales. Situated on a cliff top overlooking the Irish Sea, the hotel offers a spectacular backdrop for a wedding. It is a venue I have wanted to photograph for some time although on our arrival we were faced with some ‘challenging’ weather conditions and it initially looked unlikely we could take full advantage of the location. All forecasts however showed a slight chance of a break in the rain later in the day, so with our eyes on the skyline we persevered throughout the afternoon with fingers crossed.
Sure enough, as desserts were served during the wedding breakfast we had our chance. Delyth and Stewart were happy to make a break for it as we made our way onto the headland and down to a nearby sheltered cove where we managed to grab some fantastic images highlighting the rugged coastline of Cardigan Bay.
