Over the past 15 years as a professional photographer, I have specialised in photographing weddings. During that time I have developed a style that has evolved into what may be described as photojournalistic. My idea is to capture the special moments at your wedding, the essence of the wedding and the people I photograph. So that when you look back at your album 10 years from now, you’ll remember how you were feeling in that moment, what you were thinking. Whilst I still cover any formal group photos you may require, the majority of your photographs are shot in this candid style of photography. Allowing you more time to enjoy your day with your family and friends, without turning your wedding into a photo shoot. The majority of my work is based in the beautiful surroundings of the Gower, in South Wales, although I regularly photograph weddings throughout the UK.
To confirm a booking and guarantee your wedding date I require a deposit of £200 together with your completed booking form. With dates often booked up to 2 years in advance, it is always best to get in touch as soon as you have confirmed your wedding date. Please contact me to check my availability and enquire about your wedding photography.
Before The Wedding
Prior to the wedding I meet up with the bride and groom to discuss the finer points of the big day including the timetable of events. We also run through any specific photograph requests and answer any queries you might have.
On The Wedding Day
On the day I usually start with the bridal preparations, continuing through to the evening function and first dance. On average I provide around 650 images in total. These cover everything from the detail shots of the wedding rings, flowers and table decorations to the chosen family group shots. The majority of my work though, is spent taking natural, candid photographs of the bride & groom and their wedding guests. Those special moments through the day, capturing the emotion and the feelings that make each wedding unique.
After The Wedding
Once the wedding is over the work begins on editing your images. I aim to get everything done in around 3-4 weeks, although at busier times of the year it can take a little longer. Once edited, all the best photographs from the wedding day are displayed in a secure online gallery as well as the high resolution images files being supplied to the bride and groom.
Once you have had a chance to look through your images, you are able to choose your favourites for a display album. The albums I offer are available in a range of styles from two of the most sought after album companies available today – namely Graphi Studio Albums of Italy and Jorgensen Albums of Australia.
