On 2nd April 2016 I photographed the wedding of Rachel and Gavin. The wedding ceremony was held at St John’s Church in Porthcawl, with the reception afterwards at Pencoed House in Pentyrch, on the outskirts of Cardiff. Coverage started with the bridal preparations at Rachel’s family home, only a short drive away from the church. With showers forecast throughout the day we were pleased to find some spring sunshine greeting us as the wedding service concluded. On arrival at Pencoed House we spent a little time with Gavin and Rachel, taking a few photos within the fantastic grounds of the venue. We also managed to grab a few family photos before the majority of guests arrived.
With the formalities complete I spent the remainder of the day capturing candid images of the bride and groom celebrating with family and friends, concluding the days photography coverage with the evening function and first dance.
